The feedforward mic and feedback mic collects the internal and external ambient noise to generate a reverse sound wave to reduce the noise. Unfortunately, while the battery life is doable for most everyday activities, its score is below average.The Edifier TWS330NB delivers around 3,5 hours of playtime with ANC on, up to around 1,5 hours more with the function turned off. What you don’t have and what I expect will put off some users is the automatic pause when you take the buds out of your ears the music or podcast will continue to play.
The Transparency/ Ambient mode lets in some more chatter and traffic around you on moments you need it, but this only works - a tiny bit - when you're not listening to music. What you will notice is that you don’t have controls for skipping back a track or any volume commands. This will also extend your battery life up to 1,5 hours, so it's worth considering to turn the ANC off. In this review, we have been testing the TWS 330NB which is the latest in the Edifier lineup we have been sent. Especially sudden sounds, like door slams or (male/ heavier voiced) people talking, aren't reduced very well. Moving to how they fit and I have been using these every day now for the last week as my main pair of earbuds sorry Jabra.
