About this deal

The Mignon more than any other coffee grinder manages to successfully mix a clean and compact design without sacrificing the many incredible innovations fitted in Eureka’s professional coffee grinders. I own the smart grinder pro too, and where I think this grinder excels is when it comes to using various different brew methods, as it's so easy with the LCD grind settings to get from one setting precisely to another one even at the other end of the range.

As with the chrono there's a timer for 5-60 seconds of grinding, and you can use it on demand by pushing the portafilter into the grinding button and letting go when you think you've got your desired dose. It's worth noting, though, that the Mignon I was sent, had been used for a while before, so the burrs had been “run-in”. Data sheet Burrs Type Flat Burrs Diameter 55 mm Burrs Material Hardened Steel Drive System Direct Bean Hopper Capacity 300 gr Bean Hopper Material Plastic Functions Touch Screen (2 doses + continuos) Number of Settings Stepless Micrometric System Height 350 mm Width 120 mm Depth 180 mm Net Weight 5. Bring the innovation, style and top-quality grind performance of a Eureka on-demand grinder into the home. It's so easy to use and allows you to go "super geeky" when you're using it, while allowing other people to just grind good coffee consistently with the timed dosing.Eureka’s “high-speed maintenance” technology ensures that your settings are preserved, even if you take off the top burr for cleaning. Specialità is the version designed for the most demanding coffee lover: new Touch display with programmable double dose and the traditional Eureka micrometric adjustment guarantees the best grind as always.

Could you please explain the difference in this model whish appears to be more expensive than the Specialita. For those seeking an extra indulgence, we offer luscious cappuccino toppings and decadent hot chocolate options.

While a bit more expensive than the Specialita, its larger burr set and faster grind output make it a better choice for a coffee business. The home barista who wants incredibly smooth flat burr shots, but needs a grinder that can fit their space requirements and pull a few shots in the morning without waking up the whole house. If you want to get more serious about single dosing, plenty of aftermarket mods are available for the Specialita, most of which are inexpensive 3D-printed jobs. I think a lot of people considering the Mignon are grinding for espresso, and I think the obvious choice for espresso among the Mingon models is one of these two.
