Amelia Hutchins does not dip her tales in honey; she coats them in the powerful, drug-like wines of the Gods and makes them drip with heartless carnage. Ryder and his men team up with Syn and her coven to undercover the killers taking down their people and strange, unforeseen connections are being made…. If you can walk away from this blog with any recommendation that was worth the time – Kristen Ashley is it!

There were certain moments during the read that I had an unbelievable desire to smack both Syn and Ryder but by the end, I was surprisingly entranced by this magical world and Ryder and Syn certainly had me coming back for more.His past is a mystery and as the story progresses we get clues and insight giving us a tiny picture of why he does the things he does. This series is so addictive although at the beginning of this book I was not sure as Patrick's mate was getting on my nerves haha. It absolutely definitely reminded me of some of my favorite paranormals that I went nuts for, back in the “day”.

Syn enforces the laws, exacting justice to any and all of the creatures who shattered her life the moment they entered it. I did wind up skimming through a few parts just because I got a little annoyed with how much this bitch moaned. A few also found the variety of possible fighting styles an important aspect; GamePro commented that "You can do multi-hit combos, throws, counters, and juggles as in most fighting games, but you can also execute lock moves and holds like in a wrestling game. the BEST part of the story… the sexual (and eventual romantic) tension that was simply off the charts! Dan Hsu of Electronic Gaming Monthly criticized the use of just two attack buttons for all the moves, saying this tends to reduce the game to a button-mashing contest.My gosh 'Fighting Destiny' is addictive and sexy, stimulating in all kinds of ways, and Amelia Hutchins just has a way of telling a story without overproduction and fanfare that is enticing within its absolute core.

Her worlds are full of conflict, loss, bloodshed, death, redemption, overcoming, perverse natures, torture, battles, secrets, passions, and a wealth of raw animal carnal pleasures. An odd trilogy that I fell in love with that if you ask me what it’s about, I’ll look at you blankly. The game's scoring system was commonly cited as both the game's best feature and the one which most sets it apart from other fighting games. I knew as soon as I read the warning label that came in the description that I was going to love this book. I was afraid Michelle was about to knock me on the head with her Kindle if I didn’t, ’cause that poor girl (and SO many of you Ryder-lovers) were appalled with me for “floating” this one for so long.

And my two cents on Dark Light series – liked it – a lot – but it is not even close to the Fever series. Oh – did I mention that he is absolutely sex-on-a-stick gorgeous and he makes me feel things that I never ever wanted to feel for a Fae…every time he touches me or looks at me with those golden eyes seems to pull me further in under his spell, despite my better judgment.
