About this deal

Bathing/shampooing/water exposure does not affect the efficacy of the product as long as it doesn’t occur more than once a week. Some mention it stops their dog scratching, while others say that it didn't work as expected and their dog started scratching 3 days after treatment. However, fleas are killed after contact with your treated pet: within 24 hours for FRONTLINE PLUS ® and FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON, or within 6 hours for FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ®.

Fipronil kills ticks (Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes ricinus, Haemaphysalis longicornis, Haemaphysalis flava, Haemaphysalis campanulata) and lice within 48 hours post-exposure. I always use indorex in the house alongside flea treatments and have never had this issue with advantage. Suitable for dogs older than 8 weeks old, FRONTLINE Plus contains the active ingredient Fipronil, that works to kill 98-100% of fleas within 24 hours, and ticks and biting lice within 48 hours. Further information about veterinary medicines can be obtained from the Veterinary Medicines Directorate. After having tried countless other products and remedies from Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic, flea Shampoos, flea collars to other Spot On to try and get rid of the flea infestation on my Staffie Cross of which none worked, a friend recommended I use Frontline.Have used Frontline on my dog for years and have never had a problem with fleas or ticks, even living in the countryside with a Springer that has to investigate everywhere. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. You should use Frontline Spot On alongside a household flea spray containing an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR). FRONTLINE Plus also contains an important addition of (S)-methoprene which works to prevent the multiplication of fleas by killing fleas in their immature stages (eggs, larvae and pupae).

It’s normal to see a few new fleas on your pet even if they have been treated with FRONTLINE Spot On. Further information available in the SPC or from Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health UK Ltd, RG12 8YS, UK. However, if your pet gets soaked to the skin then the effectiveness of the treatment may be affected and reapplication may be needed. They die by 'excitation' so it is expected to see increased flea activity during this 48 hour period as the fleas are killed.

Today, we have so many options available on the market for the treatment of this problem, but it can be a challenging task to choose the best one for your pooch.

Long lasting, Frontline protects dogs against fleas for up to 2 months and against ticks for up to a month. Please note that parcels weighing over 2kg may be sent via courier due to Royal Mail weight restrictions.Unlike other flea treatments, FRONTLINE Plus® kills ticks too, helping to reduce the risk of tick-borne disease transmission. Frontline Plus® is an advanced product that not only kills fleas and ticks on your dog, but also stops the flea eggs that fall off your dog from hatching and infesting your home. Remember, it is important to treat your dog all year round, as centrally heated homes make an ideal breeding ground for fleas. Discount code expires one month after receiving and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers of promotions. You may as well just give your dog a check when he runs in long grass and remove the tick manually as the chance of getting it off before it infects your dog is much greater.
