I liked how Hiccup used his language skills, the humor when someone else tried to speak dragonese (without success), the evolution of the relationship between the boy and his father and the nice change of scenery with the Romans (a romanced one of course). But Cressida keeps throwing new characters and dragons at us; more than making up for plot predictability.
