Not only is it very pretty and handsome and well done, the strength and confidence is a palate cleanser. Even though this is sweet i kinda find the EDP to be more "heavy sweet" and this "light sweet", however this one projects like crazy once it settles on skin - have to check this one before going to work with it. I had a job working at the baseball park in Bowling Green— which gave me the freedom that came with my own money, and a segue into the city.The Joop Homme Eau de Parfum opens with notes of cinnamon, perfectly complemented by hazelnut with fresh, citrusy undertones of bergamot. It's not only me, my wife hates that smell and I asked feedback from my friends and none of them seems to like it. The spicy freshness of Cardamom is warmed up by a voluptuous blend of roasted Hazelnut, Vanilla and Tonka Bean. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. As divisive as it is enduring, this fragrance could easily be considered the Paco Rabanne 1 Million of the 90s.Joop Homme and JPG le Male, which I bought on the same day, kind of blurred my fragrance journey which would actually started in the following year, 2013. Not terribly vintage, as whatever reformulations took place and watered this down from beast-mode took place sometime after 2014.The sillage is undeniably robust, projecting an assertive presence that may not be suitable for those seeking subtlety.
