The characters also feel like they have a bit more depth now, and their interactions are all strangely humorous or endearing. Hades will never leave her he’s protective of her innocence and with reason as others wish to use her as a pawn.

This volume wasn't as painful as the first volume regarding Persephone's SA experience, but it did still reflect back on that in some ways, and my heart hurts for her every time it comes up.
