About this deal

A more advanced and firm version of the Original McKenzie lumbar rolls, the Original Mckenzie Super Lumbar Roll has a medium hard back pad to treat and prevent lower back pain, as well as improve posture. If it is too shallow, your thighs will not be supported properly and after a while you may be uncomfortable. The Lumbar Rolls are good for counteracting slouching in most seats, and are firm lower back supports. The angle of a wedge whilst sat tilts the pelvis forward and this in turn helps to correct the alignment of the spine.

A sheepskin cover is soft and warm and will absorb moisture; it also allows the air to circulate so that you do not become too hot. People with a marked curvature of the spine may find a softer, canvas or angled backrest more comfortable. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. It is possible for objects such as TV remote controls to disappear into the gap between the seat and backrest. If you are using a walking frame, do not pull yourself up on a walking frame or another piece of furniture as they are not secure.Equipped with injected moulded foam, this lumbar roll cushion naturally contours to the shape of your back and is especially useful for those who sit in office chairs for long periods of time. The support is finished in a luxury velour cover for extra comfort and is available in 4” and 5” sizes to ensure the correct fit for your needs.

The Original McKenzie Lumbar Roll is a soft back roll for prevention and treatment of low back pain. If the front legs are joined by a cross bar or are filled in with upholstery you may not be able to position your feet under the chair. Since many chairs do not support the natural shape of the spine, they can encourage sitters to adopt hunched or bent positions, which only make this strain worse.

Generally speaking, sitting down causes the back muscles and ligaments to stretch, which puts stress on the surrounding tissue. If you spend long periods of time in a sitting position it is vital that you have a chair that is tailored to your needs to maintain comfort, well-being and independence. If you do not discover the goods are damaged until you unpack them please let us know immediately, and certainly no more than 48 hours later.

You need to clarify who actually owns the chair and who is responsible for its maintenance or replacement should it be required. Back2 is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Pay4Later Limited, trading as Deko, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 728646).This can alter the user’s line of vision so that he/she is forced to look towards the ceiling, so balance and spatial awareness may be distorted. These skins are less resilient that a natural sheepskin and therefore do not reduce shear forces as efficiently.

It would be advisable to use a hoist to lift someone in and out of these chairs but an overhead hoist may be the only option, as many of the chairs are wide and have insufficient space underneath to accommodate any other type of hoist. It is portable, with an adjustable strap so you can take it with you anywhere; to the office, car, plane, train - wherever life takes you. The Key Area of Support Offered by the Original McKenzie Super Lumbar Roll What Causes Back Pain when Sitting? When seated, your hips and knees should be at approximate right angles whilst your feet are flat on the floor. As they are powered by mains electricity, the units will need to be positioned on a chair near a suitable socket.
