The slightly annoying "feature", where the power LED stays on for a few moments after switching the NanoVNA-H off, seems to be gone forever on the NanoVNA-H4 and NanoVNA-H v3. The nanoVNA was delivered a couple of hours ago and I took the time to update the device and do the noise floor test.
Like I posted earlier, don't consider this a stamp of approval as I only use a very small subset of the firmware's features but still this 1. No obscenities, discriminatory, abusive, or other content not suitable in public or for younger readers. Calibrating the LiteVNA using sorted Mini-circuits load and the short, open, thru from the V2Plus4 kit.version, Nanovna-H4 is added a brand new panel plus added a new SD port for data storage(support up to 32GB memory card, not included in the package).

Thanks for the reply, then it starts up with a black screen then, but when you connect it to the PC you hear the wellknown sound and DFUse recognises it correctly. If I had any plans to continue to support the older protocol, I would just start over and include it in my software. It has been replaced by the Nanovna-F model for frequencies from 50kHz to 1500MHz, and the Nano-VNA-F V2 for frequencies from 50kHz to 3000MHz. The measurement setup was relatively primitive, I just put the tinyDMTD on my lab bench, connected it to my laptop via the supplied USB cable and started logging in Timelab.

The question arises whether some chips used for production might appear to have 256KB, whether that memory is guaranteed, ie does it have some hardware defect that makes the higher memory unreliable?
