About this deal

Usually I’d usually use my tungsten lights for this sort of project, however since I’ve got a set of FalconEyes RX-18TDs, which are a beautiful fill and key light, I was keen to add to my LED light offering a couple of lamps to light the green screen. They say that the light output is good, the lights are very strong, and the panels offer color temp and brightness controls that are easy to navigate. Can also be used as fill bouncing off or shinning directly and in indoor environments could be utilized as a backlight as well.

This 660 RGB LED 2-Light Kit with Stands from Neewer features two 660 RGB light panels, each with barn doors, a diffuser, a 6. The light stand is made of corrosion-resistant metal, giving this light stand exceptional strength for heavy-duty work, and pretty sturdy for your shooting. In the RGB mode it provides a full colour wheel interface, so you can tune the colour to exactly what you want. While I haven’t had much use for the effects mode as yet the Neewer RGB660 lights offer, I have just recently completed a shoot where we used several Arri Skypanel S60s and s30s to create a lightning effect. Dimmable Bi-Colour LED Light with Hot-swappable Batteries and removable barn doors and comes with a Diffusion Panel. The light comes fitted with barn doors, diffusion sheet and mounting bracket, and is supplied with a Neewer stainless steel 220cm light stand. The lights can be powered from the mains, using the included power adaptor, or via the Sony NP-F batteries, which I have quite a few!

The lights can be powered in two ways: AC adapter (included) when shooting indoors, or NP-F550 NP-F970 li-ion battery power supply (battery not included) for on-the-go photography.Fat Llama is a peer-to-peer rental platform — we connect people who need stuff with people who have stuff. Wireless Remote Control can easily adjust brightness, Channel, and color temperature from within 20 meters distance. Capable of tilting 180° on the bracket, the 660 PRO II RGB light allows for flexible lighting angles. Solid with Metal / Aluminum build, feels sturdy, Screw on the yoke, and for the stand are made of metal which is fantastic. This seems to work great at getting rid of the multiple shadows without loosing too much of the output of the lamp.

While the barn doors are a great addition to a lamp like this, they did impede its ability to tilt down on a lighting stand as the doors got caught in the yoke of the lamp. You can achieve the maximum brightness out of the lamp by activating both the daylight and tungsten LEDS, setting the Kevlin to around 4200K. Inside the app, you can select groups (1-8/ALL) and strobe scenes; adjust brightness, color temperature, hue (0~360°), and saturation (0~100%); and save two favorite lightings presets. It is provided with a power cable, but can also be powered using Sony NP-F batteries (not supplied).Easy Light Modification- The U-mount bracket enables you to adjust the beam angles in a range of 360°. I've had these light for over 5 years now and they are still going strong, and they've come on almost every single Film Set or Shoot I've done.
