About this deal

This is directly controlled - the knob on the back and one on the right side each drive a segment of the arm. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). As for the flaws mentioned in the review, all of these are very typical for LEGO Technic models of the size, so no surprises here. This heavy-duty excavator building kit makes the perfect gift for any kid who loves construction toys and big machines. It looks good for what it is, the design is neat with little holes in the main body and the B model looks good also.

But I still recognize that it's a glaring issue that could dock at least half a star if not 1 from my 5-star review. I know some purists despise the use of System parts in Technic sets, but I honestly would've preferred if they had used a System windscreen element just to be able to get something that's reasonably see-through for a figure driving the excavator. The blue pin complaints do make more sense when applied to technic sets with a heavier aesthetic focus. The new Excavator fits into the middle of the range, and below, I'll compare it to two of the older versions.Jag bara kände att en liten kille som älskar traktorer, bilar och entreprenadmaskiner måste älska denna som nog pappa också får litet att göra med. The product is also perfect for kids who like machinery and great for young minds to explore mechanics. Whether it’s a birthday, Christmas, or ‘just because’ gift, young construction fans will love building and exploring this 2-in-1 LEGO® Technic™ Heavy-Duty Excavator (42121) toy set.

You've already got the mini-LA to adjust the boom angle, and then use the second knob to drive a spool of string. The cab is fitted with a red seat which has nozzles on both sides to represent control levers, and an angled control panel. They all use essentially the same arm, with 2 movements (none of them have independent control of the bucket).

Its surprisingly study as well and has survived many fights with my twins girls who are both fascinated with lego now. Transparent Technic parts are rare, in fact I'm struggling to think of any others, so it would have been preferable to use System parts, or do what they normally do, which is to imply the windscreen by using flex tubes or axles to define its edges. Complaints about colored pins sometimes provoke exasperation because they’re incessant and come from the same few people every single time, usually acting like the pins are a personal insult. LEGO® components meet stringent industry standards to ensure they are consistent, compatible and connect reliably every time – it's been that way since 1958.BrickEconomy, the BrickEconomy logo and all content not covered by The LEGO Group's copyright is, unless otherwise stated, ©2024 BrickEconomy. The first one is for building the arm with the shovel and the other ones are for building the rest of the vehicle; the bodywork, the suspension and the tracks. And no company will pay you for cleaning the windshield on their dime, so as long as you can do the job (which often means you're not actually looking through the windshield anyways) it really doesn't matter how opaque it is. My intent was to voice my opinion in the hopes that it "may" help in some way to affect a decision process.
