Not a surprise since BBW scents that are this weak and soft, tends not to last even if you layer them with oils or lotions. Perhaps I got bored with it, perhaps my skin chemistry or sniffer has altered in some way that makes it less appealing to me. It smells different (less sweet, boozier, a bit darker) from the old perfume version with the cubic lid. I've smelled this numerous times at bath and body works and I've always passed it off as "okay" or "eh, I don't like it all that much".

I wrote a review on this few years back when it first came out and at the time I had rather lukewarm feelings on it. The scent itself is one that I think is a good choice for a holiday party…it’s festive, but not too typical of a holiday scent (Think cranberries, spice…that sort of thing). I should preface this by saying that lately I've been alternating scents like crazy (not all of the scents I alternate are bath and body works) and that I become obsessed with a scent for a small period of time and then move on.Firstly, I will be gracious, and receive this with the utmost joy it brings, just because it was gifted to me. We are in no way affiliated with these designer fragrance companies, our scents simply smell similar.

It’s quite feminine but I also would not classify it as girly, as I think of scents such as Ariana Grande and Britney Spears when I hear the term girly. I tried it with some heavier perfumes and a few unisex ones where my skin fails to pull the sweeter notes or that can use some variety every now and then. The longevity and sillage aren't that great due to it being a mist, but I wouldn't expect anything else. But the Pink Vanilla kiss, which isn't in this database lasts longer and has more sweetness and the Thousand wishes has more musk.Layer this one with Demeter Fragrance Ginger Cookie (It cuts down the sweetness, whilst, keeping it Christmasy! Top notes are Champagne, Carambola (Star Fruit) and Quince; middle notes are Peony and Freesia; base notes are Sugar, Almond Cream, Amber, Sandalwood and Musk. yes it’s a Bath and Body Works fragrance but she’s fun, ready to party, and a mood lifter post holidays. it must be a pattern with bath and body works's fragrances with cake themes/notes, but the cake note is always way too much for me! This sits ridiculously close to the skin and the smell is so faint, it's hard to make out what exactly it is I smell.

I sprayed it on my arm, went to bed, and it was still projecting within a foot when I woke up the next morning. I wear this any time of year, but I definitely see how it could be geared more towards fall and winter.
