About this deal

I want this on my skin and not on clothes so I get the better dry-down, but if I spray on the back of my neck (. For those unfamiliar, its like a nice shower gel scent without the “blue” feel most fragrances like that have.

The leather notes have been enhanced with natural rum essence to give the composition incredible fullness and an elegantly addictive character.

The intense version gets all the love (and I also love that) but I actually find this a bit more wearable. Like ChilledSpice said, it's not a blue, but it's a nice clean, floral and woody, soapy, office friendly kind of fragrance. note that is in Kenneth Cole Signature and Aqua Di Gio variants (some people think it smells like pickles) got stronger. Other members include names like Carven L'Eau Intense, Invictus Aqua, Legend Spirit, Hawas, Dylan Blue, Bleu de Chanel, Sauvage, Eros, Mr Burberry, Icon Racing, Mauboussin Private Club, Oxford Bleu and Bentley Black Edition (and many others perfumes besides a legion of clones). I don't find the violet any more feminine than lavender but do find it more masculine than rose notes.

I find this to be a very sturdy, reassuring smell which conveys an impression strength and reliability. I wore that for years (and still have a bottle), and I'd say it's an enjoyable scent that leans Oriental. Bentley for Men is more versatile and wearable than the intense because the intense version can be a bit too much. This is the brightest and sweetest fragrance compared to the other Lalique/Bentley fragrances I own. If you are a bit modest, then you don't know what to do with yourself, because the scent is so strong it fills every room very fast.An unprecedented scent experience permeates me, so noble and valuable comes this Markanz - like the Bentleys themselves. I've already acquired "Armaf - Pride" (Sauvage clone) and I'd been working out how to get another bottle of "XS"(1994 version) and a bottle of "Dylan Blue". The Bentley for Men line is known for strong fragrances, so this is definitely the part that disappointed me the most. i like to use it with mild and warm weather, when I am in the mood of a lesser sweet scent than what we get from Legend Spirit, Legend Intense, Dylan Blue, Dior Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel, or sweeter than Carven L'Eau Intense. This reminds me of my memory of what Michael Kors for Men smells like -- a fragrance which I used to wear all the time but unfortunately seems hard to find now so I am happy to own Bentley for Men.

The fragrance is undoubtedly interesting, but I think it might be a bit heavy for young people to wear. It is rich (despite being unobtrusively “thin”), deep, vibrant, it has a brilliant evolution from the sharp boozy-leathery-patchouli opening (the leather in particular is really good here for me – Amouage-like, again) to a fantastic amber-incense drydown with sweet echoes of benzoin, leather and talc. I almost gave this away after not wearing it for a year or so; but when I sprayed it into the air, it must have hit me right, because I kept it in the rotation for spring and early summer.A sharp, artificial, and sweet scent that smells like a mix of gasoline, booze, honey, and melted crayons.
