Might be biased since im a Britney stan but oddly Fantasy was my preference back when they first came out and i was still in high school drenching myself in Pink Sugar. Which was why, at eight years old, I was so overjoyed to receive the shimmer stick version of Curious for Christmas. this smelled so amazing on a best friend but when i sprayed it on my hand and a tester strip it smelled like straight up grandma )): another best friend of mine also said it smells like grandpa. When wearing it, I can picture myself in Louisiana, relaxing on swinging seat, under a huge shady tree.

I can definitely smell the lotus and pear, but curiously, the vanilla (always a reliable base note) is missing to me. Curious takes the magnolia in a more aquatic, fruity direction with pear but still has a touch of creamy white-floral from tuberose. Of all my perfumes, Curious is the only one where I’ve completely used up several bottles of it and repurchased again and again. It's one of the most subtle and understated of Miss Spears' scents, which is actually not necessarily a bad thing! I blind-bought this, because I thought, that since I love white florals, I can't go wrong with this one.

It's neither too young/immature nor too adult; It's a perfume that I know I can come back to time after time. In 2000 I was 3 so I don’t really remember the early years lol but I can sure as hell remember the time when Britney dropped the Toxic music video. Though my collection is small I rotate what I use pretty frequently to avoid getting tired of any of them, and Curious is no exception - I purposefully haven't allowed it to become my signature scent so I can continue to love it for years to come.

After 5 hours- the vanilla, musk and woods have really taken over now, the fragrance has changed quite a bit in my opinion, it’s like “your skin but better”, it’s extremely soft, sillage has massively decreased since though, lingers hardly more than the skin. If you want a perfume that doesn’t offend anyone and makes you smell clean and aquatic, you would enjoy this.

In me is prominent the magnolia, pear, lotus and a little bit jasmine, I think his sweetness is from the pear and jasmine, I don't feel it woody or vanilla note. I felt pretty cool because I was wearing Britney's scent, and who didn't want to be like Britney then?

To me this is a Britney, in a luxurious hotel room surrounded by expensive vanilla candles and clean designer bed sheets, but she herself is understated in simple dark jeans and a delicate white lace cami, her blonde hair lays in loose curls with only a swipe of mascara and pink gloss because she’s naturally so pretty.The smell makes me think of barbies, toy makeup, and plastic both because of the vibe of the smell and because there's literally a strong artificial/plastic smell to it (not sure what it is). Curious was one of the most beautiful perfumes, but I’ve made two recent attempts to get new bottles and they weren’t the same formula. I remember the commercial coming out when I was young but did not start wearing it until recently when I finally got "into" perfumes. Just the faintest whisper of the early 2000's, which disappears before I even figure out if I'm actually smelling something.This is a breathy, softly indolic white floral with airy, white musks in the background, allegedly vanilla-like but I'm not sure I detect it. This is just fresh as a daisy and I cannot recommend this enough for people looking for a very fresh and floral scent for spring and summer.
