Local legend suggests that many centuries ago, a Mayan goddess came to the valley and endowed it with fertile soils and riches. The name “Indigo” was inspired by the color blue, which was crafted by the ancient Maya using the Indigo flower (añil). Cihuatán Indigo is an 8-year-old rum, produced in El Salvador by the Licorera Cihuatán distillery, with an ABV of 40%. It was a thirst for wonder that inspired the ancient Maya to study the stars, to travel to faraway places and to create unimaginable things. This rum is aged according to the Solera method, in American oak barrels that have contained bourbon The youngest eaux-de-vie are at least 8 years old.

The nose of this classical Don Papa is very fruity, dominated by notes of mandarin orange, complemented by apricot, raspberry and green banana.
