About this deal

Also this book felt very Twilight to me for some reason, I couldn’t really figure out why but just the mood of it I guess. he’s only part of the story when he’s fucking tiernan and then once that’s over, it’s bye-bye jake-y jake. One of it is in Kaleb’s POV, and I think reading it helps you get to know him more and shows you the side of him the book couldn’t but you’ve always wanted to see. The different types of relationship in this book are so blurrily intertwined that I wasn’t sure what these characters meant to each other. Honestly, it was completely fucked up, and added a whole other layer to Tiernan's already-existing emotional damage, because she didn't really mourn her parents because there wasn't much to mourn.

i had to read about this lady for so long and by the end of the book i barely knew her any more than i did when i hadn’t even started the book yet. It was easy to empathise with them and it didn’t feel manipulative but their experiences were so sad to read about, especially Tiernan’s and Kaleb’s.the moment they met he tried to have sex with her even though she said no multiple times and then he proceeded to be rude to her for pretty much the entire story after that, by throwing food at her, writing “slut” on her forehead, and just rude things that are certainly not how one is supposed to show love to another. Just because you've gone through traumatic situations does not make it okay for you to rape someone or react violently. Timing is everything and sometimes, due to an influx of requests or book mail, it may take a little while for us to reply/post. she did really stupid things sometimes too which i don’t even care to get into, but she annoyed me so much.

But this for me stood out in a sea of sameness and it was just so different that I can't help but remember it. I think the book was pretty well written for the most part but I just wish it had been about her and Noah and maybe the rapey uncle could have been the bad guy that Noah saved her from in my ideal version of this story. Credence is so high on my TBR and reading your review makes me want to shoot it right to the very top. While her POV certainly helps understand all the characters, it’s a little bit challenging to connect with one of the Van der Bergs considering his “limitation” and that he has the least interaction with Tiernan. i don’t even know why i picked up this book, i wanted another punk 57 i guess because i actually loved that so i wanted to read more penelope douglas and instead i got ✨this.I don't really know how exactly to go about discussing this book as it doesn't really fit in any of the prescribed boxes (or tropes) in which we romance readers like to shove things. I stop, an image of Tiernan in the backseat of some car—sweat on her face, hair sticking to her cheek, eyes closed, breathing hard—pops into my head. Their books have been translated into twenty languages and include The Fall Away Series, The Hellbent Series, The Devil's Night Series, and the stand-alones, Misconduct , Punk 57 , Birthday Girl , Credence , and Tryst Six Venom .

I thought the way Tiernan just "shuts off" her strong feelings and chemistry with the two "unchosen" guys was pretty abrupt and it honestly felt a little off, since it was built up so much in the first half. at least one of them is going to r*pe or sexually assault her in any way shape or form, i mean, "It does get boring in the winter. But What is a scorching, Panty incinerating scene suddednly stops, Turns, Flips and nose dives straight into the abysmal depths of git wrenching emotions. Read this book if you’re seeking for an exceptional, thrilling, and treacherous taboo forbidden romance read with some age gap theme and reverse harem feel to it.

and i knew that this would be longish, and that’s one of the reasons i didn’t read it at first, but then i thought, you know what?then he came back and spoke to her or whatever so she stayed with him forever and had a kid with him. Enjoy the magnificience, the power of the fall but go take a peek behind it, there's a hidden cave decorated with beautiful sentiments drawn on the walls, it's a tunnel of warmth and love. Like, when Tiernan fixes the fridge to please them and has to take out all the fridge contents and put them back, he doesn't notice she fixed the fridge; he just assumes that she wanted to, like, rearrange the contents like it was a dollhouse. What you’re not entitled to is telling ME what to read and not to read, what to like and can’t/mustn’t like. I remember when it first came out, my feed was filled with people DNF-ing and going "EWWWW" which obviously made me want to find out what the fuck was going on, because I'm a glutton for punishment like that.
