The Ergobaby Omni 360 baby carrier offers all carry positions, and can be used in the front carry position facing you or facing out, as well as hip and back carry positions. You adjust the seat based on your baby's height: use the red lines for a baby between 20-24 inches / 50. The crossable straps mean you don’t have to fiddle with a horizontal back strap on your shoulders if you don’t use the straps backpack-style, which is a big bonus. The strap buckles are located on the front of the Omni 360 meaning it can be worn with straps crossed as well as in parallel. Unclipping the buckles takes a bit of practise as they have a safety catch that requires you to lift and pull at the same time, but once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s a doddle and provides extra reassurance that baby will be safe.Given the construction of this particular carrier, we wanted to make sure that a toddler baby could not accidently open the buckles while seated facing out in the carrier as she/he has an easier access to the buckle. The original 360 design, although made of 100% premium cotton did seem to get a little hot for E on those rare British heatwave days. Pushchairs are designed to last you a long time if you look after them - and thankfully caring for your pushchair is really easy. This mechanism makes is fractionally trickier to undo the clips, but once you’ve done this a few times it’s perfectly easy and can be done one-handed.
