Players are free to explore the surrounding areas of the map, grow from their choice of several crops, and invest their money in additional fields and equipment. And so in no time you’ll be clearing fields, planting crops, and waiting for the produce to grow so you can take it to the market that’s offering the best rate and selling it for profit.

The game could be much better, if the developer would have focused on a smooth interface and more realistic physics.It is now just past 9AM, and my first task is almost complete, but to be honest, I am already getting a bit fidgety.

While it does feature more drivable vehicles and equipment, it lacks many features like lumber, and frontloaders. It seems that the Giant Software team has prepared the field to be cultivated but forgot to plant some seeds. Farming and breeding must be a very boring and repetitive activity, or at least this is what Farming Simulator 2013 makes us believe.Some key new features include a redesigned graphics engine and the addition of horse farming as well as oat and cotton crops. This environment in many ways resembles the model dioramas that people like to build… and is equally lacking for interactivity. It had a lot of new features such as new crop types ( corn, rapeseed/ canola, and barley), modding support and much more machinery, while having the same map as 2008, but remastered. Current generation consoles have multiplayer ( Farming Simulator on the last generation consoles was the first console port of the game, with all features of 2013 Titanium).

If you’ve read the emotional descent I experienced with Farming Simulator, you’ve already figured out it is not a game made directly to appeal to me. I attach my trailer to my tractor – like I was taught – and use my own guile to realize I do not need roads. You plough a field; you set seed and harvest; crops are then sold to make money; and sometimes a slight detour is made over a mountain, then it is back to step one.The player is rewarded with money once the task is finished, plus a bonus based on how quickly the task was completed (excluding Farming Simulator 19,22).
