About this deal

It seems where this fragrance went wrong is it tried to mix and match a lot of good aspects from other frags abs unfortunately it just came out blah. its just citrus note and Ambroxan its not like Elysium in any shape or form but i get Dior Sauvage EDT vibe out of it.

It's a good gym or fresh out of the shower fragrance, and would probably be refreshing in the high heat. Discover an urban cocktail with the citrus energy of bergamot and grapefruit, the aromatic intensity of rosemary essence, and a cool twist of Haitian vetiver.

But there's a certain note similar to Al Haramain's L'Aventure that is not listed in the official notes here---I think it's elemi. This is actually a very nice, bright fragrance, quite invigorating and clean, it really caught me off guard when I first tried it a couple of years ago, I now have a sample. If you see this at ross or burlington coat factory or marshals for cheap, it's worth having especially for summertime. I am surprised violet / violet leaf isn't mentioned at a mid-note; I get a lot of it alongside Rosemary.

I also get the comparison to sauvage, but even less so in the mid where the fuzzy ambroxan feel begins to show itself. Hugo Reversed was one of those "must-have cheapies" for about two months, at which point discounters, far and wide, went "oh, people like this? I and several other people I got to try this scent had about the same reaction, we kinda liked it but were not sure and we know we did not love it. when we talk about fragrances of this type, literally the only thing that matters is which bottle do you like the most. For such a simple fragrance, I have to admit that I'm having trouble picking the various notes apart. In a way, that makes this kinda similar to the opening of Dylan Blue, but the sweetness is tamer here, with a bit of sourness in there. It is very strange that some reviewers are pushing this as a "masterpiece" - not even in the same ballpark.

Good fragrance for a beginner but I would guess not a good option for anyone who is a enthusiast in the fragrance game. Please read the full reviews and consider your own needs and preferences before making a purchasing decision. With an innovative pop cap - for men who dare to challenge the status quo, HUGO Reversed presents a fragrance with a fresh twist: an urban cocktail of energising citrus, aromatic rosemary and cool, contrasting vetiver. But the bright side is that it is not tiring at all so you can refresh it every hour during the day. Almost all fresh scents I've tried so far become something else, less fresh, after some hours (time varies depending on the fragrance), but this one remains fresh-ish all the way through on my skin. I've worn it every day this week and I'm disappointed I can't smell it unless I bury my nose into my arm. It's more balanced in a way, but I dislike the sweetness because this projects for quite some time, and after a while the sweetness got in the way.
