From Aesop’s fables though to Reynard The Fox, Chaucer’s writing and medieval ecclesiastical iconography, the fox has long been characterised as a vicious predator, an untrustworthy trickster and a cunning foe.

Creatures of all shapes and sizes -- from tiny rodents to towering bears and majestic whales -- scramble for safety, but this intrepid fox inexplicably runs TOWARDS the danger. Mothers and children, brothers and sisters, vixens and dog foxes… it’s like a sort of hippy community.

Lovefoxx lives in Garopaba, a beach town on the southern coast of Santa Catarina, where she built an ecohouse by hand. The plot is in some ways much more traditional and less linear than the one in the first comic book, but it reflects the theme of the average man who faces extraordinary events and manages to discover many hidden personal resources. Over time, the politician might build up a national profile and be featured on network news and talk shows. After all these wild animals and grandiose landscapes, I’d like to do The Mole, a story that is completely set in the dark, a totally black comic book, ha ha ha! The volcano is not connected to a specific event, though; we simply needed an environment that would not give our new protagonist an easy way out, and a northern island, supposedly close to Iceland, seemed to us to be the perfect location.
