The result is a genuine and beautifully balanced golden rum to be enjoyed with your favourite mixer. I have been a drinker of dark rum for the past 3 decades and have recently had the pleasure of consuming a bottle of Mercers rum. Sophisticated, complex and suprisingly dry, it is excellent in an Old Fashioned, ideal over ice or on its own.
