I moved into a new urban village just over a year ago and we have a similar ethos to this place, we also have 2 Facebook pages and some of the messages that are in this book posted on line sounded very familiar, I am so hoping the similarity ends there, although nothing is perfect as we have already discovered.

From the neighborly quirks, to the block customs, the parties, and what everyone knows about everyone else, no matter how hard they try to be united, you know there’s tension brewing.

And in Binding Their Hearts, the unique way that Barber explores their love for one another becomes replete.But there is so much more than meets the eye and I had to take notes to keep track of all the great twists and turns! Unfortunately, all was revealed (and resolved) too fast and too conveniently, which really ruined it for me. It’s a pretty generic story but it was fast paced and due to the mass amount of characters, I didn’t have any idea who could have been the mischievous note-leaver. When I’m trying to get friends and followers to read these books, I usually tell them about one of two crucial moments in this way: the most gut-wrenching safe-wording scene ever, and/or a villain so terrifying you’re truly not sure the hero will escape (I’m talking about Peggy, not Cal.

But either way I couldn’t put it down ’cause I had to know where this was going, and just how it could possibly resolve itself.With an overcautious dominant on one side and a newcomer to the lifestyle on the other, Jay knows he has to tread lightly, but he can’t help pushing for more. They all know how to communicate and the writing makes it clear that there is no pressure to perform.
