Honestly, I just love an isekai that treats female characters like real people—it’s refreshing and makes me want to actually continue reading. While his give me and his daughter the cold shoulder he also is suspecting my extreme change of heart with suspicion.

Can't wait to see what gift Abigail will give Blanche next, how her husband will be less of a jerk, and more shenanigans with a certain magical item!

The art style is well done and the details for items were worked on by someone who clearly knows what they were doing - dresses were rendered in styles that were realistic, character design and coloring were beautifully made and further enveloped the reader in the world envisioned by the author. I read a ton of webtoons but never mark them—there are countless ones I start, forget about, they stop updating, I lose interest, blah. That opening sequence with the mirror was hysterical and this whole chapter was a fantastic first look to show this family dynamic which doesn’t look like a good one. A modern take on the Cinderella story, I'm Only A Stepmother, But My Daughter Is Just So Cute could be considered the alternative to Who Made Me A Princess in terms of the relationship between the daughter and the mother. The art was beautiful, the story was interesting and the characters were introduced in a way that makes me excited to see what happens next.

There is something so very special about this story of this woman who is now in the "evil" stepmother's body that ADORES her stepdaughter so so so much. The new Queen Abigail is trying to change all this and to repair her relationship with Princess Blanche, but it's difficult to do when your smile is terrifying! In Abigail's body, Lily becomes enamored with her stepdaughter Blanche, who is both sweet and her latest muse. I laughed and I cried and I felt alive, especially with how the author shows the relationships between three equally complicated people who just want to feel loved.
