About this deal

But we get a Loki throne and a tree with Loki colors (not spoiling, it’s just what’s on the box) and that’s it? While I had fun opening everything at once, I couldn't help but feeling a little dissapointed after. com Heads up, today is the final day that you’ll be able to score 2x LEGO Insider Points on all purchases on LEGO.

AthleticLeg039 Great option to get many mini figurines Many of the avengers characters are present, the side items are great as well. In a way, it’s not surprising as the Mark 85 Armor was the star of Avengers Endgame and Infinity War, so Tony being in his ultimate nanotech-infused armour makes sense. The 2023 LEGO Marvel Avengers Advent Calendar is truly a topsy turvy roller-coaster of boom and busts. I am also looking for the advent calendar count downs for Star Wars and Harry Potter but can’t find them on your site, though I read, you do all five Lego calendars this year, can you please help me? This one is quite clever conceptually, and I appreciate that they managed to combine a festive component with an Avengers reference in a way that makes plenty of sense. After holding off my son(and myself) opening the Star Wars advent calendar for the last month we finally had our moment together this morning. We LOVE lego in our house of 4 boys and don't see it stopping anytime soon but please do better next year lego. While you’re here, please also subscribe to the blog if you’d like to find out about other posts which cover LEGO news, reviews and random musings! Last year (2022) I haphzardly stumbled upon your Advent Calendar Countdown then subsequent brick blog of sorts. There are 7 minifigures - Okoye, Doctor Strange, Captain America, Spider-Man, Wong, Iron Man and Black Widow - plus mini builds and accessories that kids will recognise from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including a mini Quinjet and the Hydra Train.

With no Christmas Tree in sight, it doesn’t take a genius (billionaire, playboy, philanthropist) to guess what we’re getting on the final day! Day 15 of the 2023 Marvel Advent Calendar is a bit of a random one – I’m guessing that this is some sort of Arc Reactor on a steel pedestal, but the use of the trans-blue round brick is throwing me off as the shape is a little weird and could be anything. Bit of a weird one – not the worst day but I do wish it was slightly more clear what this is meant to be. I did notice it was the only advent calendar besides Friends that was sold out before Christmas and that you can still purchase. It seems that every year is hit or miss as far which advent theme will be great and which will fall short. On Day 16 of the 2023 Marvel Avengers Advent Calendar we get quite an interesting build – a throne for Loki! There are 7 minifigures – Okoye, Doctor Strange, Captain America, Spider-Man, Wong, Iron Man and Black Widow – plus mini builds and accessories that kids will recognise from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including a mini Quinjet and the Hydra Train. This version of Okoye is slightly uncommon, as it’s only appeared once in 76214 Black Panther: War on the Water, so if you didn’t pick up that set, you’re in luck as this is a fairly affordable way to add this Okoye variant to your collection.

We get an Iron Man Reindeer, a robotic Reindeer in Iron Man’s signature crimson and gold colours, complete with its very own Arc Reactor. Day 5 of the Marvel gives us an Iron Man Snowman, complete with a fancy top hat, a trans-blue arc reactor in its chest, and two white blasters for arms.Thought I'd try something different this year and purchased the Avengers calendar, and it was really disappointing.

On Day 14, we get a mixed bag of things – an Ice Hockey stick, puck, and transparent goal, as well as a stuffed bunny and an Iron Man-coloured present. Melding LEGO and Technic in the most ingenious ways, the build is especially challenging but rewarding, especially when you see the functions in action! The minifigs included were really neat, there were a few minor characters that honestly should have been replaced by villains. That said, 7 big-name characters are pretty good, and sorta make up for the lackluster days and builds.

It’s a shame that he doesn’t have a festive Christmas jumper like Black Widow or Spider-man, but this is just plain old Steve Rogers. This build was a lot of fun and I especially love the use of colour here, with pops of pearl gold and a trans-red rockpit. She’s a key supporting character in the Black Panther movies, and Okoye has an important position as General of the Dora Milaje, the elite military unit that protects the Black Panther in Wakanda. It really feels like LEGO phoned this one in with no quality control, particularly when you compare it to the Star Wars calendar released the same year, which is full of cute little builds that pay homage to the different vehicles and scenes from the films. I receive a small commission if you purchase something, which helps support the work I do on the blog!
