For the first time since their epic 2019 album, Hiding Places, billy woods teams with Kenny Segal (producer) to bring us, Maps, billy woods' most accessible album to date. It is an album about trying to find your way home, after making your home wherever you lay your head. In the years since Woods has had an exceptional run of releases including a 2020 collaboration with Moor Mother and two albums under the Armand Hammer moniker. I think we only collaborated once over the last four years and although we didn’t talk about it, I think we wanted to let that energy build again.
