About this deal
Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick 023 Cherries In The Snow is a long-lasting lipstick formula with a modern matte finish. They're really comfortable and easy to use--at least the three shades I have now: Cherries in the Snow, Berry Haute, and Fire and Ice. We’ve re-defined the rules of matte lipstick with this lightweight, non-drying matte lipstick formula. I also owned Black Cherry (and my experience with it wasn't so bad - maybe it got shittier in the last ten years), Iced Amethyst (a weird frosty purple, dunno if it's still around), and Blackberry, the BEST deep red shade that I have been unsuccessfully trying to dupe since they removed it from the line sometime in like 2011.
The unique formula also helps nourish and protect your lips, leaving them feeling soft and hydrated. It’s a firsthand link to the past, more tangible, immediate, and beautifully mundane than a book or a work of art. And if it’s worthy of the title “cult classic, then I MUST have one of them myself to see what all of the hype is about, right?
I'm not expert enough in undertones, though, to know what it is about my skin that makes these lipsticks look more pink.It was a runaway smash, so it's safe to say that Cherries in the Snow literally built the Revlon cosmetics empire. As you can see in my swatch below, my skin has some neutral and warm undertones so it leans a little bit more pink.
