About this deal

I'm not impressed with the condition this product came in as it was a birthday present for a friend of mine and it arrived like it had been bashed around carelessly.

In comparison to the 1st pressing, not counting that my copy is worn from being played to death after all these years, this new press sounds better no comparison. You could say they just updated the sound of Chicago but they added their own touch and Parisian flare and delivered a stunning yet simple masterpiece. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Perhaps because I had grown up with the Discovery-era Daft Punk, I was expecting more of the same, and so I found it a bit repetitive and a bit bland.

Homework is the debut studio album by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk, originally released in 1997. Proving its consummate worth it spawned a generation of fellow rave fanatics and the foundations of a burgeoning French electro-house scene. This release is quite high quality overall, with the sound quality being stunning as with most other Daft Punk releases. Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Originally released in 1997, the seminal party album doffs its cap to the roots of dance music, pulling in elements of electro, acid, funk, techno and house. As the duo's first project on a major label, they produced the album's tracks without plans to release them, but after initially considering releasing them as separate singles, they considered the material good enough for an album. looking over the odd photos and scribbles on the inner sleeves, you’d think you were looking at a Supertramp record, not something inspired by DJ Deeon. I've noticed many noting that side B skips at 'Around the World', though I have had no issues with skipping.

Seeing “Da Funk” and “Around The World” on late night MTV2 lured me in, when I was too young and too green to recognize any of the names shouted out on “Teachers” apart from maybe Dr. Even now, all these years later, it is still a mind blowing work that blew electonic music wide open. Matrix / Runout (Runout side C, etched, variant 2): MPO ̶V̶i̶S̶A̶ ̶8̶1̶4̶8̶ C1 426111 THE EXCHANGE - NiLZ. Language - Regardless of country of origin all tracks are sung in English, unless otherwise stated in our description. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. There are no skips and I recommend this album if you are a daft punk mega fan or a normal record collector! Homework is the gateway drug that sent an entire generation of naïve suburban tweens on a quest to find out what records by Todd Edwards, Romanthony, Kenny Dope and Jeff Mills sounded like. Ok so I just got this record just a couple of minutes ago, and when I put it in my record player, bro do I tell you that it sounds CLEAN AND GOOD!

Irrespective of the source, all of our collectables meet our strict grading and are 100% guaranteed.Made in France" on rear cover, as opposed to similar version Daft Punk - Homework indicating "Made in Poland". It features the repetitive android classic 'Around The World', 'Da Funk', 'Burnin', 'Alive' and 'Revolution 909'. Daft Punk's 1997 debut album took the raw foundation of Chicago house to prog rock levels of high concept and grandiosity.
