This entry is for the original 2013 first pressing release, cut by Chab (2) and lists the unique first pressing runout (without "-30372-"). most of the tracks have nothing original or interesting, "Get Lucky" is nice but again bass saturated, what a poor artist and engineering job, you need to review your Classics, any solo album by G. For this seismic album, the band developed and enriched the minimalist production style typical of their previous releases though collaborating with session musicians performing live instrumentation, limiting the use of electronic instruments to simple drum machines, a custom-built modular synthesiser, and their signature vintage vocoders. Julian's solo is actually fantastic on here as well and really suits the track (I could try and explain this track but it wouldn't give it justice). The drums are really a pleasure here and the last 2 minutes of "Contact" bring me back to the Homework days of the likes of "Rollin' and Scratchin'" which is a nice sort of touch for the long term fans!

Doin' It Right" is definitely one of my favourites if not my favourite track on the album, the vocoders are straight up fantastic and Panda Bear is really on form here. To celebrate this milestone a special expanded edition will be released including 35 minutes of unreleased music (Demo and Studio Outtakes).

I highly recommend sitting down with a good set of headphones or through a solid hifi system and immersing yourself in this album because it is a masterpiece. Beyond" is another grower of a track with once again very nice use of vocoders, however the I wished they'd gotten rid of the strings at the start, I really disliked them myself! Right from the get go with "Give Life Back To Music" you can see the intent the Daft boys have with this album, its got great melodies and groove, fantastic production and once again those infamous Daft Punk vocoders.
