About this deal

Improve the quality of your beer and wine whilst reducing fermentation time with this electric heat belt.

Space-Saving: The heat belt heater is a small, compact device that takes up very little space, making it ideal for small brewing setups. One of the main benefits of using a Brew Belt is the reduced time it takes to complete the brewing process of your beer and wine. The _ga cookie, installed by Google Analytics, calculates visitor, session and campaign data and also keeps track of site usage for the site's analytics report. Heat belts or Brew Belts are similarly energy efficient like heat pads but are designed to wrap around the fermenter and provide heat along the length of the belt. Additional measures like timers or third-party thermostats will give much finer control of fermentation. It is ideal for aiding fermentation with one or two demijohns or any make of 5 Gallon/25 Litre vessel, and is suitable for beer, spirits, and wine making. To be honest, I don't run my brew belt with temperature control and keeping a steady fermentation temperature can be a bit hit and miss depending on the temperature fluctuations in the brewery.

Designed to fit around 25-litre (5 gallons) fermenting buckets/vessels, it can also be used with two 5-litre (1-gallon) Demijohns.A heat pad heats from the bottom of the fermenter whereas the heat brew belt is positioned around the side some way up. The belt should not be left plugged in for more than 8 days in a row, and the must or wort temperature should be monitored daily. Versatile: The heat belt heater can be used with a wide variety of fermenters, making it a versatile tool for home brewers. The TopBrewing™ heat belt is a revolution in brewing temperature control, with its own temperature control dial you can regulate the heat unlike any other belt on the market. The heat belt heater will then provide a constant source of heat to maintain the desired temperature.

Easy to use- The heat can be regulated by moving the Brew Belt higher or lower on the vessel although we would recommend using a stick on thermometer or similar with this product to make monitoring the temperature easier. I'm guessing there was a dry joint or bad soldering just after the resistor, or the resistor itself just burned out. Without taking a direct temperature reading of the beer this is quite a tricky thing to get right and I would still be inclined to use some additional controls mentioned above, such as a temperature controller or a timer. Shortly after this I noticed it was cold, except for, funnily enough, the point where the cable enters. We do try to keep it to a minimum BUT we would rather your item arrived in one piece than be mean with the packaging. The TopBrewing heat belt is a revolution in brewing temperature control, with its own temperature control dial you can regulate the heat unlike any other belt on the market. I'd recommend the orange looking heat belt, I've used that one years ago and it did the trick, I wish i bought that one rather than this. When I use them I cycle them on and off with a thermostat so they are not on constantly but I would assume they have build in safety features to prevent overheating.
