Looking at it as a darker, more complex stand-in for the Atelier (tho lasting less than half as long), it works for me. Its clean, aquatic side seems to take its stylistic lead from the Acqua Di Gio DNA -- not unlike L'eau Bleue d'Issey, which is a very nice spin on AdG with a rosemary/juniper punch. You won’t really notice any difference between a product purchased from Perfume’s Club and a product purchased from a seller in our new Marketplace. At the time, I was present at the launch event and showed the main novelties of the fragrance that brought the concept of water as a symbol of force and movement, as the principle of the creation.
If you are more of soft sweeter aquatic or zesty fresh after shower type of guy, maybe this is not for you. An interesting release no doubt, perhaps it'll grow on me but to be honest I'm not sure if I'm willing to hold onto it long enough to find out. Cashmeran and Vanilla are also obvious players, with the overall effect being a slightly sweet, very salty mineral take on a more classic formula.Presentation is also good, bottle is for some odd reason of better quality compared to most of the others within this brand. And the breeze stirs up the aroma with the freshly washed drift woods the grass and maybe the forest behind me. Evoking the sophistication of water in an intense, rich fragrance, this fragrance will unlock your infinite possibilities.
Unlike Leau Majuere which goes into a floral dry down from its metallic opening, this one starts off with a rougher metallic opening and goes down a more salty sea breeze kind of scent. Mid adds a pleasant salt and wood feel that is "the seashore in the early evening in the summer" and nice. L'EAU SUPER MAJEURE D'ISSEY by Issey Miyake is an «Eau de Toilette Intense» from the Woody Aquatic fragrance family for men. This autumn, L'EAU SUPER MAJEURE D’ISSEY unleashes the power of water, with a new, exhilarating blend. The citrus, sea notes etc may be hanging out in the background helping it balance, but those are not forefront at all.This fragrance is definitely NOT for typical clubbing (I did centurie ago) scent but more impressive and sophisticated yet serene and calm, almost like Zen or Spa environment type.
