About this deal

The inspirational seed part for Eero here was the mini-doll skirt used as, well, segments of the Herald’s skirt!

But my favorite part has to be the inclusion of an actual oasis in the background, trimmed with some beautiful dark green tile and two modern-style palm trees. One of Batman’s staunchest allies, the hard-working Commissioner Gordon™ has spent his entire long career cleaning up the streets of Gotham City. My guess is that in this creation, the minifigures were created first and inspired the rest of the build. A member of a feared pack of renegades, he doesn’t let anything – or anyone – stand in the way of his quest for riches. The reed design front-and-center is wonderful, employing wands and paintbrushes to add variety to the verdant patch. Most of the time, though, he’s strictly on the side of lawbreaking and thievery, as sure as his favorite color is green!

As a child I always played with egyptian lego sets and I belive that even today this fantastic world can be a source of inspiration of exciting adventures! The stylistic flourishes that make 1998’s 5928 Bi-Wing Baron a classic set can be found here, recreated using new parts and techniques in this build. Martin is the leader of the Super Friends, a group of misfit brainiac kids who meet secretly in the school’s deserted boiler room, where they can do extra-credit projects without fear of reprisal from their fellow students. Ever since his days as a beat cop, he has always performed his duty by the good old-fashioned rules, no matter what chaos Gotham City’s many super-villains may have thrown his way. Intrepid reader, I report from deep within the desert quarter where we find Robert4168 has revisited a classic LEGO theme to present Baron Von Barron’s Biplane. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products.

There are many parts which need to be made many times the same way ,so this was good for him to follow and replicate. Finnish builder Eero Okkonen shows master-class LEGO character creation with the Herald of Scales, imagined in ancient Egyptian styling. A lute-playing, tattle-telling teacher’s pet, Martin Prince is the smartest kid in Bart’s class, a fact that he proudly mentions whenever possible. And so, in no time whatsoever, the pyramid was built, the scorpion was suitably menacing, the traps were set, the treasures hidden, the bad guys waiting with the kind of patience one expects of the plastic undead, and the heroes were ready to storm the pyramid, ably assisted by a Lego Han Solo because hey, when you're facing a Giant Scorpion, you need all the firepower you can get. On the left it leads into a room where the priest prepares deceased Egyptians for their journey to the afterlife.Even though it’s tucked away to the right, the designs on the sandstone building are intricate and fit right in with the medieval setting. I came up with this idea because i wanted to make a set mostly about an oasis, but it would be boring if it was only that so i also made the other 2 buildings which i love! While not as many sets this time as the Egypt theme, it still proved popular enough to keep the sets coming. No matter what big or little things may go wrong, she’s always cheerfully certain that the worst is over and everything will get better soon. It's been a few weeks since he made it and it is still in one piece, which is testament to the playability of the final model.

Though a smaller set than the pyramid, it still had a few tricks up its sleeve, and was a great set in its own right. Donald’s adventures with his best friends Mickey and Goofy are full of fun, laughter, and often a little trouble!

Finally, in front of the museum are two ancient cat statues and a bench where minifigures can seat to read while a magician sells balloons. LEGO Adventurers had everything you could ever wish for in a set, especially the original Egyptian one. Can the heroes navigate the treacherous maze of booby-trapped stairs and the Pharaoh’s tomb to escape the clutches of the mummies? Koen Zwanenburg is also fascinated with ancient history, and has built this amazing life-sized version of the boy king Tutankhamun’s mask from 16,000 LEGO bricks.
