How convenient. 😂 I thought we already had that crap in Naomi × Seb book??? A threatening presence in her life, she wanted answers to a death which plagued her and she was certain he was at the bottom of it. He wanted to dominate her. These two combusted my iPad, hotter than the desert. i saw devlin (glyns supposed dead bff), being alive and evil a mile away. take this aspect of their plot away and kilglyn have nothing. take the one non-con scene away, these two have nothing. they could be any random college students. the tropes/darkness was there but i didn't FEEL any of it. so hence why my rating. they were a cute couple and they had their hot moments but overall the couple heavily relied on the side characters to make their book interesting.

As for Anni and Creighton, their story was good, but I think it kind of copied Adrian and Lia's whole spanking dynamic because, why not? And I don't really prefer that Sadist x Masochist relationship! eli... i love my unbothered king, he only cares about his family and ava. the way he immediately called brandon over when creigh came to 'help' landon beat up killian because he was pissed lan invited creigh... the way eli's eyes always found ava FIRST no matter what room they are in... the way i know eli is the 5th heathen aka mr white mask... it's what EYE DESERVE. Eventually, the writing style smoothens out a little bit, but here and there RK has a pompously worded phrase ready for describing someone's death, suicide attempt or inferiority complex. Maybe because she is operating under the misapprehension that otherwise readers will be unmoved by the simple beauty of tragedy itself? Who knows. Certainly not us.

I did like random moments from the book. Like when Landon and Killian teamed up to get “revenge” for Glyn. The concept of the Chaos God "Malal" was created by comics writers John Wagner and Alan Grant along with Malal's Champion, Kaleb Daark, for the Warhammer World in the Citadel Miniatures Compendium and Journals. Despite the fact that this book didn't have the best plot, and Killian and Glen probably won't be my favorite couple, I still liked them. Im obsessed with psycho heroes so how could I not liked this book?

how, um, f0rceful Killian could be. He doesn’t like the word no 👀. If he wants something, he’s gonna take it 😬. The opening scene is n0nc0n, then we get some dubc0n ones, but for the most part, Glyndon was along for the ride 😉 i also didn’t really care about the chapters in astrid, levi, and asher’s POVs (astrid and levi are glyn’s parents while asher is kill’s dad). i suppose me not really caring about their chapters had to do with me not having read their books, but if you’ve read them, you might really enjoy those chapters. i have finally come to the conclusion that RK can’t be British because if she was, she’d know that if Remi really went to a British school/uni, he’d get bullied so severely he’d contemplate killing himself at the end of each day. inaccurate British representation😔💔
