Since Donkey Kong is resistant to the Tikis' music, he works with Diddy Kong to retrieve their hoard of bananas from the Tikis. Trying to collect all the tokens for unlockable content really adds to the gameplay and will leave you frustrated until you get it right. And sorry, but claiming that these are "factually" "incorrect" is just so beginning of the internet.

So you could go around the level quickly with Tiny but be weary of only having 1 hit point or you could slowly going around smashing things up with Chunky, knowing you could take a few hits off enemies. Instead, it looks like the team applied the same design process Nintendo did with New Super Mario Bros.If you've ever wanted to fly an explosive barrel through an underground cave while being chased by ginormous purple bats, you're guaranteed to have a good time in Crowded Cavern. The game's story focuses on an evil group of Tiki-like creatures known as the Tiki Tak Tribe that are unleashed on Donkey Kong Island and hypnotize the island's animals to stealing Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong's banana hoard, prompting the two to traverse the island to reclaim it. However, none of the collected items are added to the inventory, and when Super Kong completes a level, it stays red from the overworld unless Donkey Kong and Diddy complete it themselves, causing it to turn blue.

Rare inserted two playable characters from their other games that were still in development: Banjo and Conker.Levels start getting more creative that expand on the basics laid out in the beginning, so while it feels very boilerplate in the first couple of worlds, by World 6 I couldn't wait to see what lay around the next corner. Me, I chose to skip the option every time it was presented to me, but I totally understand if there are times where you might want to pull the trigger just to move on. Diddy looks out of a window from DK's Tree House and spots the animals with the stolen bananas in the distance. However if you say a different DK game (Not Tropical Freeze obviously) is better and have a solid reason for that, that's cool, everyone has their own opinion. the8thark Granted I haven't really played TF, but from what I saw, the level gimmicks seemed to be fine, it's the gameplay that's lacking in uniqueness.

There are eight full worlds of action, but it all keeps going and going thanks to the unlockables that demand a perfect play. I'm looking forward to the next DK game, whether it's a DKC continuation, or something new again like DK64 (which I never played, but do want to attempt one day).While Mario is the undisputed man when it comes to all things Nintendo, let it never be forgotten that it was Donkey Kong who gave the plumber a leg-up in the world of video games.
