About this deal

Their 25-years of know-how and experience in building motorcycle boots were completely dedicated to developing a new and innovative range. The personalised Forma Drytex tubular lining incorporates a waterproof and breathable membrane, ensuring comfort in various weather conditions.

The Forma brand is now recognized as one of the most innovative brands in the motorcycle boot business. There is a Drytex waterproof and breathable liner to keep water out but allow the foot to breathe and there is TPU protection on the ankle and a large section on the shin.I agree totally about the soft sole problem on the basic Forma boot and the drawbacks of using MX boots for touring road/off-road. Also, the Evo sole is more flexible but yet strong enough to feel comfortable while standing up off road. known budget conscious brands and even have our own branded goods made specially to our requirements and because we are bikers too, we know what works and what does not. But the boots in my size are definitely too high and massiv at the front as well as too stiff, so I wouldn’t be able to manage gear shifting quickly and comfortable.

The first time I wore them was for a five-hour cross-country and motorway jaunt and they felt as good at the end as the beginning.During the 6 months of my travels through Central Asia and Europe I’ve tested them in all sorts of scenarios for 30 000km. The boots are solid and while I might want more protection if I was doing some extreme off road riding, I’m not and these are a significant upgrade in terms of what I was wearing for touring.

Slide your feet inside the polymer, memory foam inner and overtime the padding will mould to their shape for a comfortable, supported environment. I was thinking they were the boot for me but tough to decide as this will be my first off-road boot.

The following day out on small adventure bikes, they worked just as well on tight, narrow single-track lanes with plenty of movement and feel for the controls. Also there is little or no heel impact absorption from the rear (important for high-side landings), and they don’t allow your lower legs to flex and rotate naturally causing spiral fractures + upper tib/fib fractures + busted knees. SBS should ask for reviews of all their products after a substantial period of use (not just ownership). For comfort you get padded, concertina banding in the heel, in the upper calf region, and in the forefoot.
