As with all condensation-related problems the only treatment is ventilation. By allowing the movement of air under the floorboards the air temperature should regulate, so that there are no cold spots to encourage condensation to form. Fitting this special vent sleeve involves digging a hole in the ground against the wall, to the correct level and then cutting through the wall at that level. This should be at least 50mm (2 inches) below the underside of the floor, and ideally 25mm (an inch), or so below the level of the underside of the floor joists.
