About this deal

In fact, women seem to be drawn and written in this way which isn't a good thing, especially because this is a Shonen Jump series. It actually makes me think of Death Note, where women were portrayed as pretty much useless outside of in-the-way or eye candy. Given the demographic of the publication, that isn't a good look. I also wouldn't doubt that the rushed feeling to this plot is due to the pressure of Shonen in the misguided belief that if it isn't big, flashy, and always moving that they'll lose readers. This manga is awesome! It's the first manga I've ever read and man, what a way to be introduced to manga! It was a little bit of a process learning how to read the thing but after that I found myself laughing at this harder than I've laughed at anything in a while. The simple humor is great. It's all really great. I need more... Denji's a poor young man who'll do anything for money, even hunting down Devils with his pet devil-dog Pochita. He's a simple man with simple dreams, drowning under a mountain of debt. But his sad life gets turned upside down when he's betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a Devil inside him, Denji's become a whole new man-Chainsaw Man! If you buy this, I recommend buying at least the first three at once. This one is definitely not enough. I finished it in one sitting, while eating a meal. The book lasted a little longer than the meal did. When I finished I wanted more. More book and more meal, lol. I'll definitely be getting more.

Other media for this series include a novel titled Chainsaw Man: Buddy Stories that was released in November 2021 written by Sakaku Hishikawa, with illustrations by Tatsuki Fujimoto. However, not a single Chainsaw Man instalment featured on the top-15 best-selling volumes of 2021; being dominated instead by Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece and Demon Slayer. After an 18-month hiatus, the release date for Part 2 of the Chainsaw Man manga series has finally been confirmed on social media. Chainsaw Man, vol. 2] (in Japanese). Shueisha. Archived from the original on October 27, 2020 . Retrieved September 14, 2019. Personally, a story with such over-sexualised utilisation of female characters and male ones who perpetuate these ideas of women in fiction, especially in graphic novels and with young adults, is not something I'm comfortable with reading. For me, there is no interest in a wishy-washy main character who keeps nearly getting himself killed because he can't stop thinking about boobs and, more importantly, touching them. But if that's your thing, go for it. There are plenty of volumes at this point to invest in. Chainsaw Man, Vol. 2". Viz Media. Archived from the original on May 2, 2021 . Retrieved August 31, 2020.

Chainsaw Man, vol. 10] (in Japanese). Shueisha. Archived from the original on January 3, 2021 . Retrieved November 24, 2020. As a side note, representing one of two female characters as a terrible person who is willing to use her power (in Denji's case, of seduction) over a male character and threatening to kill him if he doesn't comply isn't cool. Female characters don't have to be perfect or damsels, but at least have a decent rep of other female characters before you choose to do this with one of the only female characters you have.a b Ressler, Karen (December 10, 2018). The second issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine would then revealed that the series would receive a “second part” that would be a direct continuation of chapter 97.
