Some of the people mentioned are more interesting than others, with some having more investment in Islam, whilst in other stories, the impact of Islam on the individual is barely mentioned. The extraordinary characters mentioned in the book range from both men and women, from many different ethnicities, who come from various occupations or roles in society throughout history. It’s so inspirational to see such successful Muslims in a Puffin book and I hope there will be many more books like this to come. As someone who tries to learn more about different cultures, this was a nice introduction to Muslim faith and culture through the lives of inspiritional Muslim people. They deconstruct and translate daily feelings, conversation and intimate thoughts into self-published printed matter using Risography.

Please note: This is not an anthology but a non-fiction text found in the junior fiction section, compiled by one author. Some profiles were questionable - and many Muslims wouldn't consider them to be 'Amazing' but it seems like they were pushed by the Publisher and not the author.
