I know a lot of the plot changed when it became a solo work, and I wonder if the trust theme is new or was part of the original plot.One thing I didn't understand was why Preston wasn't following the foursome from the very beginning, to assist Julian in escaping from Ty and Zane. Even the personality of the cats ring through - "Smith and Wesson both sat down in the opening to bedroom, ready to enjoy the show".
