About this deal

Hi, I've installed AMI cable (ref: 4F0035909) at the back of the MMI 3G NAV (BASIC) unit and a Connects2 A2DP bluetooth adaptor.

Most I read is iPhone related, and it seems like there could be a difference depending on the phone used. iPhone is NOT supported to display Spotify/Pandora playlist, it is only supported to display iPhone Apple Music playlist(iTunes playlist). If unsure, please send me a photo of the pin wiring label from the rear of the radio and I will confirm compatibility. Think it's partly to do with the differing ways that mmi interfaces with things plugged into ami on different models, years and versions of mmi, making compatability a problem. Displays Track Information (ID3 Tags) on the factoryMMI display including Song titles, Artist, Album etc.Compatible with:A1 A3 A4 A5 A6 A7 A8 S3 S4 S5 S6 RS6 TT S8 Q5 Q7, must work with original MMI 3G+ system. I'm considering switching it out for a Bovee Tune2Air as some say it's the best option, but I've also heard it has a similar issue for android. This device is a must all models of iPhone that have bluetooth, especially those that no longer have a headphone jack output. I kind of think the 10” is ugly and breaks the lines of the dash too much, but a definite plus for readability.

Please note: The compatibility information provided for this Audi Bluetooth streaming adapter interface is provided as a guide only. This after market cable designed for Audi AMI MMI so that you can Bluetooth stream module allows you to listen your music device through your factory stereo. On thing to note is that you need to make sure the power output matches the Bluetooth receiver; i went with 5v as that meant i could connect my 4c directly to charge it. You simply need to locate a suitable switched live and earth point in which to wire this in and connect to the above lead. PLEASE NOTE: For All Royal Mail Shipments they aim to deliver your item within 1-3 business days but not guaranteed.I know I have a rear backup camera so there is some kind of AV already connected, but I didn’t know there was an AV2 option. Is there one that will display track info and have full steering wheel button functionality with Android?

Simply connect your Bluetooth device(ipod/iphone/smartphone/MP3 player/MD) to your AUDI AMI/MMI system or VW / SKODA / SEAT MDI MMI system with this adaptor, use as a connector of 'Entertainment Source' No control from receiver or steering wheel No music information shows on receiver. How do you access the external AV from MMI - is there a separate menu option accessible from the CD/AUX page? Please ensure that the make, model and year of your vehicle matches the above and that your car has the suitable connector to take the plug pictured above. After reading this thread, what I didn't see mentioned was what happens, if anything, to the hands free phone capability of the car. As for steering wheels, you can either get a wheel and airbag from a 2013+ and swap it, or get a custom wheel which uses the existing airbag.Although my layout looks different it was just a case of removing 3 nuts and 1 bolt and the whole cage lifted and swung into the boot for easy access.
