A special world atlas shows detailed full page maps of all central eclipse paths (total, annular and hybrid). It is fascinating to discover how much luck, and also how much hard work, that has gone into Tom Holland's career, and I think the story is far from over. I don't think I can sum it up much better than Dominic did himself in his handwritten note at the start of my copy, this is "an unlikely but true story".

Of course, I have no idea what that might look like onstage, and the play's New York reviews suggest it was wildly successful in its mission and execution, so it's entirely possible (even probable) that my perceptions are inaccurate. This is a hugely enjoyable and compelling read that is written with great humour, warmth and brutal honesty. Essentially two stories in one, the tale veers between Dominic's career on the comedy circuit and young Tom's first forays into the showbiz world of stage and film. Eclipsed is a powerful story about women surviving in a world where women are more property than human.Great story, peppered with genuinely funny and well-paced anecdotes, I grinned throughout and laughed out loud many times. In 'Eclipsed,' playwright Danai Gurira uses the experiences of her character, The Girl, to depict a war-torn, antimoral world in which the only semblance of choice a woman has is to survive in any way she can. The dichotomy between father and son and how they approach people in the show business is equally interesting to read about as are the core values that the father tries to instill into his sons. I blame parents who refused to watch anything other than the BBC, so growing up my exposure to comedy was restricted to the Two Ronnie's and the Chuckle Brothers. Composed of polymer lenses with paper and/or plastic frames, eclipse glasses entirely block UV light and infrared rays along with almost all visible light.

Jumping up and down the timeline like it does confused my brain, which is more of a comment about my cognitive skills than your writing, but still. I've given this book 5*’s because it absolutely deserves it, but if I could be a bit of pretentious d**k and add a note to the author it would be this – Dom, you need to believe in your work enough to invest in an editor, there's a sizable handful of typo’s, and at times I thought the structure was a bit squirrel in the headlights. Eclipsed' explores the practice of making pregnant and unwed Irish mothers work as 'penitents' in church-run laundries.I loved getting to read about Tom's journey of becoming Billy Elliot, and behind the scenes of his first movie role (The Impossible) from the perspective of a loving and proud parent. It tells the woeful tale of a group of 'fallen' women who have had their babies snatched from them at birth to be given up for adoption, and their wretched lives of drudgery earning their keep in the laundry. I was unaware of any war in Liberia; honestly, my only knowledge of Liberia was that it was a country in Africa created for freed slaves to have somewhere to go if they didn't want to stay in the US. American Paper Optics once again teamed up with noted NASA astrophysicist, Fred Espenak and his eclipse chasing wife Pat Espenak, to bring you this exclusive, must have, 36-page guide to the 2024 eclipse. Some of the collected data includes the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously.

Also the irony of “Liberian women consider American politics” never materializes into something more. Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas), Mexico, Central and South America.

A Serving of Crime with a Difference - You May Just Discover Something Unique, Different, or Unusual in These 20 Crime Novels. When the Alpha of the North Dakota pack of werewolves arrives to claim recompense for the death of two of his warriors, he wants the ones responsible.

I loved the honesty in this book, throughout Dominic owns up to awkward moments, embarrassment, faults, hopes and fears and all of these adds to the endearing nature of the unlikely story of Eclipsed. Yet sometimes, the greatest threat comes not from the enemy, but from the brutality of those on your own side.

While I don't think Eclipsed is entirely successful as a written work, the monologue is particularly striking because it is a powerful reminder that the lives in this play are lives that have been lived by real women, lives that I have never had to consider in a part of the world that so much of the rest of the world would rather ignore.
