If Triana had omitted the baby altogether or handled it differently, this could have easily been a five-star read for me. It managed to take my mind off of the current hellish timeline we’re caught up in and thrust me into someone else's for a few hours. The atmosphere created is perfection and the violence is very extreme, but written in a supremely elegant way.
