About this deal

And it’s impossible not to feel their love, their chemistry and not to root for them to end up together. Hannah was like a tiny bulldozer—she never ran out of counterarguments—and our parents inevitably gave in. Her 17-year marriage having recently ended, Sarah is using her married name and Eddie has adopted his middle name as a surname. Set to film scenes for his next movie in nearby NYC, Kennedy is anxious about the likelihood that he will attempt to reenter her life again.

A perfectly paced domestic drama centered on two lovely, lonesome people, Ghosted is a brilliant debut novel that explores the power of fate.We would lie in Dad’s old festival tent—a lumbering thing made of orange canvas, like a small bungalow—and listen to the symphony of sounds in the grass outside. And I can’t think of a book that better captures the madness of this first-world, twenty-first century torment than Ghosted, a triumphant debut with the twists of a mystery and the coy charm of a romance novel.

She always put her daughter first, and she wanted to give her daughter the best possible life available. Then, there is the ending, the pyshcofantic love story making its soppy plop into a NOT earned, maddening “happily ever after” that forgets absolutely everything we already had established about Sarah, her world, her reasons for divorcing her first husband, and, well, essentially all forms of common sense. Exhausted, eventually, by the competing forces of protectiveness and powerlessness, I’d fall asleep, waking early to assemble whatever disgusting combination of things Hannah and Alex had packed for their infamous “breakfast sandwich. He can switch moods in a moment, change scenes in an instant, flip the script without anybody even realizing it’s happening. In fact, to say how this second chance standalone novel affected me is quite honestly, difficult to put into words.

And I know—god, I know—you’ll make a great father, one of the greatest, and you’ll love this little girl with every part of your soul. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. Narrative details surrounding the accident do not emerge until the plot twist later in the novel, and Walsh initially leads the reader to assume that Sarah’s younger sister, Hannah, is the one who died. He’s destined to do bigger things, and staying would be selfish, so as much as he wishes he could be with her forever, he has to let her go, because that’s what love means.

USA Today Bestselling Author of predominately romantic suspense novels about the baddest bad boys and the ladies who love them. His popularity with teachers and fellow students alike isn't exactly brilliant; however, a light at the end of the tunnel comes from the most unexpected source. The field straggled up the steep hill behind our house, flattening just enough at the top to fit a tent. and i’m not gonna lie here, some of the things he did really upset me and there were times i wanted to punch him in the face but i can understand why he acted the way he did.

I could understand why, and it did give a more rounded insight into both main characters, but it felt weird at first. When I started seeing all the rave reviews from friends start to roll in, I knew I had to read it pronto.
