All lots are available to view in our Montgomery Street saleroom throughout the auction, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm). This exclusive selection will include limited edition lithographs featuring scenes of the Highgrove Estate and other iconic royal residences. An introduction panel explains that the His Royal Highness took up painting as he “found photography less than satisfying”, and wanted something to convey more emotion and texture than photography could achieve.

Instead, I wanted to accurately show the techniques used by The Prince in a tapestry, to represent the idea of the layers of colour he used and the quick strokes he applied. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions.He married Diana Spencer in the summer of 1981 to huge media fanfare, though the couple would eventually divorce in 1996 after years of gossip and scandal. The alternative WATERCOLOURS publication may be better for the pictures, though I have not had a chance to see it. A beautifully bound copy in half red leather with paper covered board, Prince of Wales feathers stamped in red to the front. The whole point of this piece of work is to showcase tapestry as a contemporary art form and to show that it still has impact.

This set of eight blank cards and eight matching envelopes is made from 100% FSC-certified recycled paper and come in a presentation-printed cardboard wallet to keep them neatly together, making them a lovely gift.This watercolour, painted by The Prince of Wales in 2016, shows abandoned crofts on Stroma, an island off the northern coast of the Scottish mainland, not far from The Castle of Mey.
