About this deal

There was some really energetic pictures of moving around the volcano, and I rarely had a clear idea of what exactly they were doing but it was fun. Join our community to get personalised book suggestions, extracts straight to your inbox, 10% off RRPs, and to change children’s lives.

The beauty of the crater mostly consists in the various coloration found inside it, and its enormous and to some extent, intimidating size. With your support, one tree will be planted in special Kolviður forests in Iceland to carbon offset your tour with us. This was just a random pick for me (because my library is running out of graphic novels for my reading goals) but I ended up really enjoying it. This is the only volcano in the world where it's possible to visit its magma chamber and according to CNN travel, one of 31 must-see places in the world. Into the Volcano was clearly a labor of love for Wood, who worked on it for five years, but its sloppy details and pointless storyline will not send it into the annals of brilliant graphic novels.

Told through multiple viewpoints and set between the US and the UK, this is another heartfelt middle grade adventure from award-winning author Jess Butterworth. Vanuatu is the perfect backdrop for intrepid expeditions of many kinds; the environment can be as volatile as it is mesmerising… so you better keep your wits about you if you wish to live to tell your tale… Based On A True Story. A trek and scramble through a wild environment far inside the volcano led to a deep chimney slot with overhung walls, and the final descent of a 600+ft vertical and partially overhung rappel.

Kate Humble joins a team of geologists on a journey right to the heart of one of the most active volcanoes in the world. The crater walls tell the story of all the local geological processes that have taken place since then. With the necessary gear and equipment, this tour opens the gates to an almost surreal volcanic realm. All too soon, the visit was over and we were strapped back onto the elevator, to be brought back up to the surface.

Duffy does not undergo any real change, and in that the story seems to suggest that it is Sumo who must become more like that ideal. The final ending would reconnect Sumo with his Island roots, establishing the final leg of confidence needed–a nice save from suggesting the Islander needs to be more like the Norwegian. But the park is filled with dangerous creatures, and when Seb is injured in one of the volcanic springs, it becomes a race for survival as they try and make their wish and find their way out of the wilderness.
