It was clever and effective in furthering the plot but I felt it often slowed the build up of tension overall. But if you put yourself in the shoes of the main female character, you'd come up with meaningful questions.

As I mentioned previously, this particular the line was in another book written by Harlan Coban, Tell No One…Which coincidentally was my first book that I read from this author. The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. She and Eva both have sons who are friends at the same school – is there a connection between the disappearance of Eva’s family and the man across the street from Mylène?It would’ve made of Jack’s sudden disappearance have more meaning to the viewer and kind of added more of an emotional punch to the whole experience from Grace’s point of view.
