Josie’s work life is pretty chaotic because of the demanding parents who want their children IN the private school.

They provide expert and detailed descriptions, disclose all significant defects and/or restorations, provide clear and accurate pricing, and operate with fairness and honesty during the purchase experience. Youmans and Frank manage to tackle a woman’s journey through work, race, and motherhood beautifully in their debut.

The close bond between Montzingo and Sands isn’t the only thing that makes Little Imperfections special.But a chance encounter forces her to confront the truth: what happened to make Macy stop speaking to Elliot? I was a fat kid and was bullied but similar to the lesson taught in the book about embracimg our individual uniqueness, I just treat and absorb those words that were used to bully me just like any other adjective used in describing a person. Little Imperfections carries timeless messages of love and acceptance told through a truly unique perspective, and makes the perfect gift for anybody—young, old, or in between.

I liked their conversations afterwards and what Aunt Viv had to say about whole thing and it answered everything. But it turns out that Etta’s career goals aren’t the only shock Josie’s about to face—her job, her romantic life, and her own Aunt Viv have plenty of surprises up their sleeves. A fun, snappy read about the over-the-top world of private school admissions and the unbreakable bonds of family. Which is a shame because it started off so well, but somewhere in the middle, the book just lost the allure for me and was no longer engaging.The book reminded me of my struggles when I was a kid because I was different than most of my schoolmates. Tiny Imperfection was entertaining fiction that revolved around Josie’s life and school admission season. Alli was raised in Yakima, WA, the only child of two parents who instilled in her that hard work coupled with a resilient spirit will take you where you want to go. Is there anything more ridiculous than obscenely rich parents vying for their kids' admissions to an elite private school?
