I'd absolutely recommend it- Wally West is a fantastic Flash, and it strikes an excellent balance between quick paced action and West's personal drama, itself almost telenovela-level. When Wally hands her the mantle of Flash, it comes as a bit of surprise, but I was willing to go along thinking the next few issues would begin an exciting arc about Jesse.If this is your first taste of Mark Waid on the Flash, you might question why this long run has so much popularity among comic book fans. His first run (with Wally) is considered one of the better runs; not on par with Waid or anything, but far from the worst that the character has seen.
