About this deal

Ask it questions. Tell it to do things. It's your own personal Google, always ready to help with over 1 million actions. One of the most notable features of the TCL 55P639K 55-inch 4K Smart TV is its HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology. HDR technology offers a wider range of colors and brightness levels, which results in a more vivid and lifelike image. The TCL 55P639K 55-inch 4K Smart TV is compatible with HDR10, a widely used format that provides a stunning viewing experience. Whether watching a movie, playing a video game or simply browsing the web, HDR technology enhances the overall viewing experience, making it more immersive and enjoyable. MicroLED is a newer display technology that uses tiny LED lights to create the image. This technology provides excellent contrast, brightness, and a wider color gamut. While the TCL 50P639K does not use MicroLED technology, it still offers excellent picture quality through other advanced display technologies. QLED Technology

Offering a notably different feature set to the formidable C Series Mini LEDs, these 4K HDR models still have plenty to offer, including a large selection of screen sizes along with a price tag that might be smaller than your latest energy bill. The P735 sits at the top of this sub-section, with the same switch to Android TV for UK users as with the C635 before and the P638 to follow. It has other features we would only expect of a much pricier TV, too. IMAX Enhanced gives you cinema-style visuals, while Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X provide immersive audio. The C635 also boasts an Onkyo sound system with 2.0 set-up using 2-way, down-firing speakers to enhance any Dolby Atmos output. There’s also hands-free support with voice controls and compatibility with the likes of TCL Home, Alexa and Chromecast (but no Apple AirPlay 2 or the likes of Matter and Miracast).

The Core Features

I will re-iterate, do NOT buy a TCL TV if you want a trouble free experience. These guys have done nothing to improve this, for your entertainment just do a search for "Audio Sync issue TCL" and you will find many many people with exactly the same issues. It can't be blamed on a service provider. Collecting the old product which is officially counted as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). These products are separated into the correct waste flow at our local depots and send directly to government approved WEEE recycling plants. As a White Goods manufacturer, we take our WEEE obligations very seriously and actively encourage our customers to use the most environmentally friendly recycling scheme available in the UK One of the standout features of the TCL 50P639K is its built-in Roku operating system. This allows for easy access to a wide range of streaming apps, as well as the ability to control the TV with a mobile app. Additionally, the TV includes voice control capabilities, making it easy to search for content or adjust settings with just your voice. Design

It won us over in our review, earning itself five stars and a subsequent What Hi-Fi? Award as a result, due to its sheer performance per pound proposition. It's contrast-rich and vivid colours secured it the win, making a case for opting for this cheaper model over the more expensive OLED sets on the market. Acting as something of a bridge between the higher-end features of the Mini LED models and the rather more affordable QLED TVs it leads the way in, the C735 has the potential to be a great all-round solution with sizes ranging from 43 to 98-inch displays – at least in Europe, with the UK set to see the 55 to 75-inch models arrive in September, with the larger 85 and 98-inch versions to follow later. Digital Noise Reduction (DNR), Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio, Dynamic Colour, iPQ 2.0 Engine, Motion Clarity PRO, UHD AI Super Resolution The TCL 50P638K LED 50″ Smart 4K Ultra HD Android TV features HDR technology, which stands for High Dynamic Range. HDR technology allows for a wider range of colors, contrast, and brightness levels, resulting in a more realistic and immersive viewing experience. With HDR content, viewers can expect to see more detail in the picture’s darkest and brightest parts. The TV supports HDR10 and HLG formats, commonly used by streaming services and Blu-ray players.

User reviews

It constantly analyses video signal and dynamic calculation to express most shades of colour as the Film Director intended. Rich colour enhancement preserves skin tones and expands shadow details to deliver HDR like picture quality. On top, with Game Master, HDMI inputs, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and HDR 10 format supported, this TCL TV is a great companion to enjoy any HDR movie, series, game or sport. The TCL 50P639K features a built-in 2.0 channel speaker system with Dolby Audio technology. While the sound quality could be better, more is needed for a more immersive audio experience. However, the TV includes a 3.5mm audio output and HDMI ARC, allowing the option to connect external speakers or a soundbar. Remote Control
