About this deal

There is one stainless steel D-ring on each side of the carry handle that can be used as tie down points. TRIPLE LAYER CENTER STRINGER The weight limit on a Body Glove paddleboard begins at 120 pounds for the 8-foot Grommet kids model. Body Glove rigid paddleboards are rated for 280 pounds. The inflatable Body Glove standup paddleboards have a weight limit of 300 to 320 pounds while the SUPYAKs and pedal-drive SUPYAKs are rated from 280 to 320 lbs. The tandem Body Glove SUPYAKs can hold up to 500 pounds on board and the multi-person iSUPs have a weight limit of 1,000 pounds. With the D rings attached, you can also convert this SUP into a full-flagged kayak and enjoy a more relaxed and comfortable fishing adventure. Plus, you can also try your hands with stand-up or fly fishing because of the stunning dimension of this SUP. What Activities Can I Do With Body Glove Performer 11? I rarely see fin setups like this for inflatable SUPs, so it was fun putting it to the test. However, it definitely affects performance. Despite the bendy fins, the SUP itself still offers plenty of rigidity, like other inflatables, and was great when it came to balance on the water. Paddle & Accessories

The Kayoga is a slightly longer yoga and fitness paddleboard model at 10.5 feet in length and (similar to the Oasis) has an action camera attachment, although it also has a little more bungee tie down space for securing gear. The major difference between the Kayoga and Oasis is that the Kayoga is transformable into a kayak by securing on a kayak seat as well as removable footrests on D-ring attachment locations. SUPYAK Body Glove hybrid paddleboard kayaksSome kayaks even allow you to remove the kayak seat for extra storage space. But how well can a paddleboard accommodate your bring-along? Obviously, inflatable paddle boards will not be able to fit as much as a kayak can but the Body Glove at least provides you with a dedicated space with d-rings. This can become an issue for several reasons. First, should one of the fins break or receive damage of any kind, then that is it for your paddleboard. You won’t be able to swap them out and you’ll have to make do with a repair gear. Even then, there is some damage that no one can fix. I’ve made mention of the subtle design choices that litter this board. Each one benefits the Body Glove in one way or another. From the nose design that cuts through the choppy water with ease. To the wide waist that grants you plenty of stability.

Some key features of Body Glove standup paddleboards are a bumper under the nose of the board to protect it on beach landings, a GoPro mount, triple-layer side rails to strengthen and protect the edges and D-rings for gear attachment points. Body Glove paddleboards also have adjustable bungee tiedowns, an integrated towing clip at the front for unique towing capability, and carbon-reinforced stringers on the top and bottom of the boards to add strength and rigidity. The Body Glove Performer 11 inflatable stand-up paddle board (ISUP) is a lightweight but rigid all-around paddle board. It’s particularly great for beginners and families. Speaking about its storage, the Body Glove Performer 11 will give you ample storage space so you can carry all the gears, accessories and tools for paddling along with you. Because of the stunning length and wide width of this SUP, you’ll enjoy good storage space.Beginners, newbies and expert-level paddlers can also take it for a spin and enjoy exploring the unexplored water. Even female paddlers can ride it with confidence without the fear of tipping off into the water. Can You Take Body Glove Performer 11 For Fishing? One thing to keep in mind is that due to the tapered nose of the board, the amount of space provided to the bungee storage area is less than other paddle boards. If you are searching for a paddleboard that can bring along your entire cache, you may have to keep looking. Its Performer SUP is a solid option for beginners, and after chatting with a few who have owned the board for a while, is fairly durable too.

The board is missing grab handles on the front and tail of the board (for carrying with two people, pulling ashore, loading up gear, etc.) This isn’t a deal-breaker, but I personally would much rather have grab handles than the plastic tow-point Body Glove included. To be honest, the only thing I didn’t enjoy about the Body Glove was the name. It’s not very creative or catchy. Even with certain controversial features such as the fixed fins and extra wide waist, I couldn’t really detract any points from it. Body Glove paddleboards are designed to be very stable with the inflatable all-around, touring, fishing and yoga paddleboards all having a width of 33 or 34 inches. The rigid Body Glove standup paddleboard models are 32 inches wide. The Body Glove SUPYAKs range from 31 to 34 inches wide with tandem SUPYAKs all designed at 34 inches in width. Body Glove multi-person inflatable paddleboards are 66 inches wide. We also like to sit or kneel on the boards with 2 or 3 passengers — usually kids and dogs — and cruise up along the beach. The Performer 11 holds up well for this kind of water play.

The large space gives you plenty of room to find your perfect stance. There’s so much space available that you can even comfortably do some yoga on it. Although I personally don’t see the hype. Every time I try yoga something pops that shouldn’t be popping.

When cruising with moderate intensity and focusing on gliding the board, the Body Glove Performer 11 does paddle at a very reasonable pace. Paddlers who like to focus on distance but are budget conscious should consider a longer iSUP like Body glove Performer 11. Seat: Body Glove has a handful of options for all-around paddleboards. Boards in the category don’t typically excel in one particular use, but instead may be used for many different activities such as recreational flatwater paddling, fitness, family fun, gentle surf waves, and for playing at the beach. However, this extra weight was put to good use and it only furthered the capabilities of the Performer 11. Great performance and is easy to control and maneuver. Everything that is needed for a beginner to excel. The Setup Of course, this Body Glove Performer 11 is made seaworthy so you can enjoy taking it on all water types. From the deep sea to fast-moving rapids, from ocean bays to saltwater and everything in between this SUP is compatible with all water types. The centre stringer also adds a little extra rigidity. When fully inflated to 15 PSI we found the board to be very rigid and strong. PERFORMANCEWe easily stored a dry bag, water bottle, our flip flops and PFD under the bungee cords and they were very secure. I also like the front bumper underneath the front of the Performer 11. It’s there to help reduce the pressure on the material when you — or your kids — beach the ISUP. For families intending to simply cruise around and have some fun on the water, this setup won’t be a problem. For longer touring sessions, a larger fin would definitely be nice to have. Anyways… with or without shoes on I always felt as if the grip was able to get a good hold of me and vice versa. I don’t have any complaints. It’s a high-quality board with a solid traction pad that gives you plenty of room to work with.
