About this deal

To me, the Transcend 7 feels more cushioned than the Glycerin. My theory is that the Guiderails place your foot in a way that’s easier to hit the ‘sweet spot’ of the shoe. Does science support that? Who knows. Like other shoes with the GTS moniker, this version of the Adrenaline 23 features GuideRails on either side of the footbed. These extra layers of foam cradle your foot and promote proper joint alignment as you run, without interfering too much with your stride. GuideRails! Brooks keeps making them better. Transcend 4’s chafed my lateral midfoot ever-so-slightly (along with the fact that I wore a half size smaller, and the upper was unforgiving).

THIS WOMEN'S SHOE IS FOR: Runners who want pure luxury right at their feet. Super-soft cushioning, innovative support and a plush fit add up to maximum comfort. This is Brooks most cushioned shoe for feet that are looking for support! This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. In RW testing, the Hyperion Max proved itself to be a capable performer in a variety of scenarios: “I could wear this shoe for almost every aspect of training,” said one tester. Need one shoe that can keep up with a variety of workouts? The Hyperion Max should be at the top of your list.

Comfort and stability mix nicely here for a plush feel that allows you to enjoy a nice long run or an easy recovery day. The GuideRails, which enforce stability without intruding on the natural arch, ensure that you stay neutral. I can't attest with the light trail but I did run in some grass/dirt during my runs and the same testament of great grip was true. Not for warm days The shoe is put together well and its heightened level of cushion and plushness will allow these to last for a long time which is good because the Transcend 7 is ideal for long distances. Excellent grip on dry and wet roads

Brooks has developed four main cushioning foams for its shoes. Each one is optimized for different traits, like soft cushioning or low weight, which play a large role in defining the distinct feeling of Brooks’ “Cushion,” “Speed,” and “Energize” experiences. Featuring a DNA midsole that adapts to your weight, pace, gait, and running surface, this DNA technology ensures a personalised fit and feel every time. Specific DNA LOFT cushioning provides a plush underfoot feel without compromising on durability or support. Your natural stride is enhanced through Guide Rails, which keep your foot on its natural flow of movement and encourage improved posture and balance for a better running experience.Transcend is Brooks’ attempt to build a shoe focused beyond the feet: to the knees, and 2019 bring us a new and improved model, now with a 10mm drop, up from 8mm in past models.

The Transcend 7 had a real nice mesh upper with a plush tongue and collar. However, during the summer months when temps are in the 80s -90s, my feet were on fire! Fun bicolor patterns peek through breathable holes in the forefoot; a top-notch heel counter rounds out the posterior and works synergistically with the now better-positioned GuideRails, to direct foot motion. The stability here is not for severe pronation but more for those who just would like a little extra support some days. Transcend 7 needs 20+ miles to break in It’s breathable enough for no overheating issues when running inside, but not so thin that cold air rushes right through, when facing temps well below freezing, outside.

User reviews of Brooks Transcend 7

Similar to past versions, the tongue is one with the shoe’s internal sheath, this year attached all the way to the top of the lacing system.
